Need a laugh?

I love this comedian! He's a Christian comedian and have heard his stuff for many years now. If you haven't had a good belly laugh in a while, watch him. You can see more of him on youtube. Better yet, buy his video and share it with your family and friends. They'll love it! He's good, clean, and very funny that the whole family can watch. I promise he'll have you laughing. His name is Tim Hawkins. Here are few of his:

I'm still here!

It's been awhile since I posted anything on my blog. I've been a little busy. Well, we just returned from our trip to Florida this last weekend. We had so much fun! Now I understand why people say that Florida beaches are one of the most beautiful around. I am amazed how close Florida is to Mississippi. It's only 2 hours drive from us. How cool is that! Well, we stayed at Grayton Beach State Park, which was actually 4 hours drive without kids, 5 1/2 hours with kids :). What was so nice about this place was that it was a gated park so only those who were staying there could get in, which also meant we had access to a private beach and also meant very little people. A wonderful combination!! The cabin, which was more like a duplex, was better then a hotel room. They were newly updated with new everything: stove, frig, beds, bathrooms. For the price we paid for the duplex, the beautiful surrounding, and private access to the beach it was a steal! In my opinion it was the best vacation I have had in a very long time, even with kids. We had perfect weather only 87 deg. the whole time we were there. The beach was only a short distance from where we were staying, we walked the nature trail that took us right to the beach the first day. We only walked this once because the horseflies attacked us, trying to suck all of our blood! Yes, they bite! Something I learned during our trip. The last day we were there we had the wonderful experience of seeing dolphins in the distance. They were so close to the shore, we all got to see them jump in the air several times. There was a pod (just learned that word: means a group of dolphins working together to catch fish) of 5 dolphins. This was the best finale to our trip! We will most certainly go again, I think it has become our vacation spot from now on.
